Barclays Global Investors has hired Brent Canada, a senior collateralized debt obligation structurer from Deutsche Bank in New York, in a similar role. Canada joined as a principal in fixed income strategy, reporting to Brian Zalaznick, managing director. Reached at BGI, Canada declined comment.
At Deutsche Bank, he reported to John Pipilis, director, who could not immediately be reached. Michele Agostinho Allison, Deutsche Bank spokeswoman, declined comment on his replacement.
