Goldman Nabs JPMorgan Co-Head

Goldman Sachs in New York has hired JPMorgan's co-head of equity structured investments.

Goldman Sachs has hired Bill Shelton, v.p. and co-head of equity structured investments at JPMorgan in New York. Shelton will report to Michael Dweck, head of third-party distribution at Goldman in New York, who referred calls to Goldman's press office. Shelton, reached on his cell phone, and Ed Canaday, Goldman spokesman, declined all comment. His position at Goldman could not be determined.


At JPMorgan, Shelton reported to Mike Camacho, head of North American structured equity investments marketing, who was unavailable for comment. Officials close to the firm said Mitchell will stay on as head of the group. Scott Mitchell, the other co-head of equity structured investments at JPMorgan, and Brian Marchiony, spokesman, declined comment.
