A pair of senior equity derivatives traders has left Goldman Sachs in London. Thomas Garidel de Thoran, director, and Hervé Gallo, a single-stock trader, reported to Peter Selman, head of equity derivatives trading in the City. Calls to Selman were referred to the press office, where Rebecca Nelson, spokeswoman, did not respond to questions regarding replacements for the pair by press time. Garidel de Thoran did not respond to a message left on his cell phone and Gallo could not be reached.
The duo has been connected with roles at Calypso Capital Management. Officials at Calypso did not respond to a message by press time.
