Markit LevX slimming regime heightens index attractiveness
Trading on the LevX senior series four will begin on Friday morning when the index will launch with a 500bp coupon. It is expected to price in the mid to low 80s. Market participants are hopeful that the new series, with just 50 names as opposed to the usual 75, will encourage liquidity in the index of loan credit default swaps.
