Bayan adds to Indonesian deal rush with $300m loan
Indonesia’s thermal coal miner Bayan Resources signed a $300m loan for refinancing and working capital purposes late last week. The deal comes as a long-awaited syndication of a Rph3.5trn loan backing one of the largest leveraged buy-outs in Indonesia, the CVC Capital Partners-led acquisition of Matahari Department Stores, got underway.
