Eight join underwriters for Sanofi’s $15bn Genzyme deal
France’s Sanofi-Aventis signed a $15bn loan this week to back its $18.5bn hostile bid for US biotech firm Genzyme. Eight banks joined underwriters BNP Paribas, JPMorgan and Société Générale to complete the deal on Monday.
