Gilt buyers look forward to UK KfW

DCM bankers have welcomed Monday’s announcement of plans for the creation of a KfW-style British business bank that would lend money to small and medium sized enterprises. Bankers believe that the new issuer will offer investors greater scope for investing in sterling while potentially getting an attractive spread over Gilts in the process.
