LTRO early repay bets rise as banks put €137bn to ECB

Europe’s banks could pay back as much as €300bn of three year European Central Bank borrowings in the first half of 2013, Barclays analysts said this week, as they increased their estimates on early exits from the ECB’s longer term refinancing operation, writes Katie Llanos-Small.
