SSA bankers are scrambling for any investor interest they can muster as primary market activity slowed to a trickle this week. The new issue premiums that issuers paid last week have persuaded issuers and dealers that there is not enough investor interest to attempt new benchmarks. They are turning their attention instead to taps and arbitrage funding.
