EQT delays Koole debt package

Private equity firm EQT has acquired Dutch transportation company Koole with a 100% equity cheque, having decided to deal with the debt financing after the buy-out. EQT beat competition from three other firms to buy Koole for an estimated Eu450m.

Société Générale and ING are among the five or six banks competing to underwrite the loans that will follow, EuroWeek
understands.

Bankers said the debt package would probably exceed Eu200m, and that leverage would stand at roughly 4.5 times Ebitda.
