Vivendi offers an extra 10bp but still comes below market

French borrower Vivendi has moved the margin on its five year loan back 10bp to 85bp, but the facility is still likely to be tighter than the broader market, according to bankers close to the deal.

“Pricing is moving in the market generally, but as with any deal if the relationship works then it works,” the senior loans banker said. “I think that’s why the Vivendi deal will work at the end of it all, even if the pricing is slightly below the market.” ...
