Citi appoints former UBS veteran to run China CIB

Citi has hired Guorong Jiang as chairman and head of corporate and investment banking for China, according to a press release the bank sent out on Friday.

Jiang will report to the bank’s head of CIB for Asia Pacific, Mark Slaughter, as well as the president and chief executive officer for China, Christine Lam.
