ABN Amro launched a climate change and environment equity index this week, the first to track stocks in businesses that tackle the issue. "This is the first benchmark reference instrument that can be used to invest in the growth potential of the market addressing climate change and also effectively manage and measure risk associated with these issues," said Dr Paul Thind, who developed the index for ABN Amro’s equities business.
