LatAm takes off as HY finds demand pockets

Several well oversubscribed, dollar denominated deals proved the bullish predictions of DCM bankers right as investors sought yield in a region that has been light on new issuance.

Brazilian meatpacker Minerva was the latest to issue, printing $300m of perpetual notes on Thursday as Brazil’s downgrade proved no hindrance to tapping the market.
