Sberbank draws new names in largest Russian syndicated loan

Russia’s biggest lender, Sberbank, is raising $2bn through a three year loan facility in what is the largest ever syndicated loan from a Russian financial institution.

The Russian bank is bullish about the loan’s prospects, noting that it has already attracted commitments from several firms that are acting as arrangers for it for the first time.
