KfW prints bumper Aussie dollar clip of CP

KfW underlined the increasing popularity of Australian dollars as CP currency on Thursday, issuing A$500m of three-week commercial paper.

CP volumes outstanding in Aussie dollars have risen to $8.5bn this year, from $5.8bn at the end of 2010.

The trade represented a move by investors out of US dollars, said one CP dealer, but others disagreed, pointing out that the KfW deal was sold to just one account. ...
