Numericable ups HY to €500m amid SFR merger talk

French cable operator Numericable has made its second appearance in the high yield bond market this year, selling a €500m senior secured deal on Thursday.

The issue was €90m bigger than planned. It comprised a €225m 8.75% February 2019 tranche (non-callable for 3.25 years) and a €275m six year non-call one floating rate note. That tranche was priced at 99.00, paying 787.5bp over quarterly Euribor.
