Demand flows in for Apetra return

Apetra, the agency responsible for managing Belgium’s strategic oil reserves, made its second ever appearance in the capital markets on Tuesday. The agency saw very strong demand for the 10 year bonds, printing paper at the tight end of guidance from a book that was more than three times subscribed.

BNP Paribas Fortis and ING priced the €400m 3.125% September 2023 paper at 35bp over the interpolated OLO curve, at the tight end of guidance of 35bp-40bp over OLOs. Initial price thoughts were offered at 40bp over OLOs.
