NatWest Group sells sophomore sterling AT1

NatWest Group returned to the sterling market on Tuesday to print its second additional tier one (AT1) deal in the currency, just four months after its first.

In recent years only a handful of other banks have issued AT1 paper in the market. In June 2020, Nationwide was the only other borrower alongside NatWest to issue sterling paper in the format, raising £750m of perpetual non-call June 2027 debt.
