Taiwan’s WT, Jih Sun lay groundwork for loans

Taiwanese semiconductor company WT Microelectronics is planning to return to the loan market after almost eight years.

The company has soft-sounded the market, and is planning to send out a request for proposals for a loan of around NT$10bn ($359m)-equivalent. The loan is likely to be denominated in both US dollars and new Taiwan dollars, according to a banker.
