CCR Re grabs investor attention on T2 debut

CCR Re, the French reinsurer, debuted in the bond market with a tier two on Wednesday, executing a strong transaction on the back of intensive investor engagement combined with favourable market conditions.

CCR Re appointed Crédit Agricole, HSBC and Natixis to run the books on the 20 year non-call 10 tier two.

Capping the size at €300m from the outset, they went out with price thoughts of 365bp area over mid-swaps.
