Central bank buzz wears thin in euro high grade market

Sentiment in Europe’s high-grade corporate market has been rocked by a renewed focus on the coronavirus pandemic, with syndicate bankers saying that the boost from supportive central bank policy changes has already dissipated.

The middle of this week saw minimal new issuance into Europe’s corporate market, with a brace of deals on Wednesday and a lone issuer on Thursday in the form of an Aéroports de Paris dual tranche trade.
