FIG investors warm to short end as markets start to cool

FIG bond funds are turning away from longer dated deals to take a more defensive stance in the market, after an impressive year in terms of returns.

DCM bankers say that new deal flow will begin cooling off after the Thanksgiving holiday in the US next Thursday, giving issuers just over a week to take advantage of strong conditions in the primary market.
