Presidential election triggers Sri Lankan bond move

Sri Lanka's sovereign bonds traded wider on Monday morning following the country's presidential election that saw Gotabaya Rajapaksa win with a larger-than-expected majority.

Rajapaksa, the South Asian country's former defence secretary and brother to a previous president, won the election with just more than 52% of the vote.
