Goldman Sachs’ veteran India chief retiring

After more than two decades with Goldman Sachs, India co-chief executive officer Vijay Karnani is set to retire at the end of the year, according to a memo seen by GlobalCapital Asia.

Karnani first joined the US firm in 1998 as an associate on the equity capital markets desk. He rose quickly through the ranks, becoming managing director in 2007.
