Investors net 6% return on €741m Ørsted block

SEAS-NVE has sold around a quarter of its stake in Ørsted, the Danish renewable energy company that was privatised in 2016, raising Dkr5.33bn (€741m).

The sale consisted of 9.5m shares, a 2.3% stake in Ørsted. Morgan Stanley, Danske Bank, Goldman Sachs and Nordea were mandated as bookrunners on the placing. They conducted a pre-sounding exercise with investors before launching the transaction on Thursday evening.
