No relief yet for SNS bondholders after long wait for compensation decision

A Dutch court has asked a panel of experts to further investigate what SNS might have been worth had it not been nationalised six years ago, forcing former bondholders to wait even longer to learn whether they can expect compensation for their losses.

Investors with shares or subordinated bonds issued by SNS Reaal and SNS Bank lost all of their holdings when the Dutch government put the firm under public ownership in February 2013.
