Nordea AM sees spread opportunities with new covered bond fund

Nordea Asset Management’s European Covered Bond Opportunities fund has gotten off to a flying start, having been launched in February on the premise it would deliver twice the return of its low duration predecessor.

Nordea’s European Covered Bond Opportunities fund targets a return of 1.2%. 

This will vary over time, but it is about double the expected return of the fund’s forerunner, the Low Duration Covered Bond Fund — launched in autumn 2017.
