DZ merger creates biggest Pfandbrief issuer

The merger between DG Hyp and WL Bank has become legally effective and the rebranded entity, DZ Hyp, is now the largest German Pfandbrief issuer.

The merger was legally registered on July 17 after WL Bank shifted its assets and liabilities to DG Hyp. The merged entity has been rebranded DZ Hyp and is a fully owned subsidiary of DZ Bank.
