Ecuador roadshows to court US investors

Officials from Ecuador met investors in New York this week and while the programme was billed as a non-deal related investor update, analysts say that a deal is expected later this year.

“They claim it’s a non-deal roadshow but presumably depending on feedback… they do need to do an issue,” said one London-based sovereign analyst.

Ecuador met investors on Monday in Washington, DC, before moving to New York on Tuesday and Wednesday.
