Barclays picks spot for rare euro T2

Barclays has returned to the tier two market in euros for the first time in nearly two years, eyeing a clear issuance window this week following the summer break.

The UK bank thought there would be a good opportunity to sell a new subordinated bond on Thursday, with the euro market seemingly in good shape following a handful of senior unsecured transactions earlier in the week.
