Eila Kreivi revealed on Monday that she is stepping down from her position as head of capital markets at European Investment Bank — a job she has held for 10 years — at the end of January 2022.
She will remain at the institution, taking on a part time position as chief sustainable finance adviser, which will give her more time for "family and friends, reading, and getting into better shape — badly needed after covid-life," she wrote in a LinkedIn post.
As EIB's chief sustainable finance adviser, she will continue her position as one of the lender's representatives on the EU's platform for sustainable finance.
Eric Lamarcq, EIB’s head of treasury, will take over from Kreivi as head of capital markets on a temporary basis from February 1 until a permanent replacement is found.
Lamarcq joined EIB in 2001 and became head of treasury in 2012, according to his LinkedIn profile.
