EU’s triumphant deal sweeps doubts aside
The European Union cast doubts about the health of the euro market into the shadows on Thursday afternoon with a book that towered close to €8bn on a 10 year trade on which it ended up paying a minimal new issue premium. It was joined by the EFSF making its second appearance in a week in the market as it priced a 20 year tap.
