SocGen Adds Equity Derivatives Salesmen

Société Générale has added two New York-based equity derivatives salesmen to increase the volume of flow products it offers to hedge funds.

Société Générale has added two New York-based equity derivatives salesmen to increase the volume of flow products it offers to hedge funds. Walter Lamerton from Bank of America, and Marc Brown from Lehman Brothers, were derivatives products salesmen for hedge funds at their previous firms. Both report to Dan Fields, the manager of the flow products sales team for hedge funds in New York.

Both positions are newly created in response to increased business, said Eric Lépine, global head of sales for flow and listed products in Paris. Eloise Hale, a spokeswoman at BofA, declined to comment. Fields, Lamerton, Brown and Kerrie Cohen, a spokeswoman at Lehman, did not return calls.
