Delight for Greece with heavily exported bond and politically useful yield
Greek politicians were celebrating on Thursday as its return to the capital markets appeared to meet every criterion they had set out — international participation of more than 90%, sized at the upper range, with a yield shy of 5% and a medicinal effect on the rest of the sovereign’s secondary curve. Elsewhere, other sovereigns in the eurozone’s periphery enjoyed strong auctions on Thursday.
