Chris Ricciardi, the global head of structured credit products at Merrill Lynch, has reportedly left the firm to take a position at Cohen Bros., a Philadelphia-based collateralized debt obligation manager. His duties could not be determined by press time, according to Securitzation News, a CIN sister publication.
Ricciardi joined Merrill from Credit Suisse First Boston in 2003. At CSFB he was head of U.S. structured credit products, in charge of origination for structured finance CDOs. Neither he nor a Merrill spokeswoman returned phone calls. Calls to Cohen Brothers were not returned by press time.
