Banc of America Securities has hired Toby Mitchell, a credit derivatives sales staffer at Citigroup in New York, in a similar role. Bill Parry, head of investment-grade credit sales in New York, said the hire is part of the firm's plans to beef up its sales presence and added that further hires are on the cards.
Mitchell reports to Peter Nguyen, who recently joined the firm from Credit Suisse First Boston to head the newly formed group dedicated to liquid credit derivatives sales (DW, 5/9). Mitchell declined comment.
