Arnaud Apffel, a senior equity derivatives sales official at Goldman Sachs in London, has left the firm. Simon Eaton, spokesman for Goldman, declined comment. Apffel could not be reached.
Market buzz suggests Apffel may be heading to Lehman Brothers, which is looking to hire a senior sales official to work with Marco Di Prima, responsible for corporate equity derivatives sales. Serra Balls, spokeswoman for Lehman, declined comment. Di Prima joined Lehman from JPMorgan in the summer.
