William Mackenzie, proprietary trader at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo, has left the firm. Mackenzie joined last year from the Royal Bank of Scotland to help set up a proprietary trading desk for yen foreign exchange and interest trading (DW, 4/04). He could not be reached and Takayuki Inoue, spokesman, did not return calls by press time.
