Merrill Lynch has hired Abhinav Gorawara and Monique Sin, officials in the third party group at JPMorgan, have joined the retail structured products desk within the strategic solutions group. Gorawara will run the desk, according to officials at the firm.
Gorawara and Sin report to Samir Atassi, director in the strategic solutions group in Hong Kong. He did not return calls by press time. Gorawara and Sin, who start in the coming weeks, could not be reached.
At JPMorgan, Gorawara and Sin reported to Lionel Semonin, Asian head of the third-party group in Hong Kong, which focuses on retail and private banking clients. Semonin did not respond to messages.
