Wolfgang Stolz, European head of risk management products at UBS in Frankfurt, has left the equity derivatives group. It could not be determined if he would take up another role at the Swiss house. Dave Walker, spokesman for UBS in New York, confirmed Stolz had left but declined to comment on his replacement or on whether he will stay with the firm.
One official noted Stolz was unlikely to retire. "He has way too much energy," he said, adding, "He has four or five different projects on the go."
