Deutsche Bank has hired Michael Henriques, v.p. and co-head of the collateralized debt obligation group at Goldman Sachs, as a managing director in its New York special situations group. He will be responsible for looking for opportunities to originate, structure and risk manage deals. The special situations group was formed in October to work with the firm's corporate finance, securitization and integrated credit groups. Erik Falk, managing director and head of the special situations group and to whom Henriques will report, said, "We do anything from debt to equity."
Henriques could not be reached. Eric Bothwell, v.p. and the other co-head of Goldman's CDO group, referred calls to Michael Duvally, spokesman, who declined comment. Henriques could not be reached.
