GLG Partners, a U.K.-based hedge fund, has hired Darren Hodges, managing director and head of equity derivatives trading at UBS in London. Victoria Parry, spokeswoman for GLG in London, did not return calls and it could not be determined what role Hodges would have at the fund.
Hodges, reached by cell phone, declined comment. Sam Smith, spokeswoman for UBS, confirmed the departure but did not comment on who will replace Hodges at UBS.
