Kristian Sharp, head of European flow credit derivatives at UBS in London, has left the firm. Sabine Woessner, spokeswoman for UBS in London, confirmed his departure and said Sharp, who could not be reached, has decided to leave the industry completely. Sharp reported to Grant Lovett, co-head of global credit derivatives for Europe in London, who did not return messages by press time.

Sharp joined UBS's U.K. derivatives desk in 2003 after crossing the Atlantic from Commerzbank Securities in New York, where he was head of credit trading for North America (DW, 5/12/03).
