Michael Collins, a managing director in equity derivatives with UBS in New York, is joining SG Corporate & Investment Banking as head of corporate equity derivatives marketing. Collins, who will report to Francois Barthelemy, head of equity derivatives for SG in the Americas, could not be reached for comment and Barthelemy did not return calls. SG spokesman Jim Galvin did not comment by press time.
At UBS, Collins reported to Adam Frieman, head of U.S. equity risk management and deputy head of U.S. equity capital markets, said spokesman Kris Kagel. The firm has no plans to replace him, he added.
