Tim Drayson, head of the ABS and collateralized debt obligation syndicate desk at Morgan Stanley in London, has left the firm. Drayson, who was with the U.S. house for 10 years, reported to Ellen Brunsberg, head of the securitized products group in Europe. Brunsberg was traveling and could not be reached for comment. Drayson, contacted on his cell, confirmed he had left, declining further comment.
Officials close to Drayson said he left Morgan Stanley on good terms and is expected to return to the market after taking time off over the summer. Eric Portanger, spokesman for the bank in London, declined to comment on a replacement for Drayson.
