Goldman Sachs has hired Tetsuya Ishikawa, a former credit derivatives marketer at ABN AMRO in London. Ishikawa joined Goldman's structured product desk in London last week and will be responsible for marketing new issue U.S. dollar structured products in the U.K. and Europe. He reports to Mitch Resnick, head of the structured product syndicate, who declined comment. Ishikawa did not return calls.
Spokeswoman for Goldman Sachs Rebecca Nelson confirmed Ishikawa had joined the firm, adding he had started in a junior role. Alex Evans, spokesman for ABN AMRO, confirmed his departure from the Dutch firm.
