Two equity derivative officials who left TD Securities in June have resurfaced in similar roles. Ilya Vercammen, equity structured salesman at TD in London, has joined ABN AMRO in a new role, covering institutional sales to the Benelux region. At the Dutch firm, Vercammen reports to Amilcare Police, head of institutional equity derivatives, according to Mark Bennewith, spokesman for ABN in London. Vercammen and Police were out of the office and could not be reached.
Anthony Turner, structured equity trader at TD, is set to join Rabo Securities as a senior trader at the end of the month. Anita de Bruijn, spokeswoman for Rabo in London, confirmed the hire, declining comment on whether Turner takes a new position or is a replacement at the firm. Turner was on gardening leave and could not be reached.
TD announced in April it is closing its advanced equity products business and restricting its structured credit operation to Canada (DW, 4/29).
