Ex-Morgan Stanley Credit Chief Slips Out

Jonathan Dorfman, former head of global structured credit and group risk manager at Morgan Stanley, has quietly exited the firm.

Jonathan Dorfman, former head of global structured credit and group risk manager at Morgan Stanley, has quietly exited the firm. Dorfman could not be reached but it appears he left in July, after moving to a risk management role late last year. One official said he has retired from the market, but this could not be confirmed. Two Morgan Stanley credit officials said the firm has reorganized its credit derivatives business, and Dorfman has not directly been replaced. They referred further questions to Carlos Melville, spokesman for Morgan Stanley in London, who declined all comment.
