Standard Bank has hired David Johnston as head of structured equity trading for emerging markets in London. He joins from City asset manager Marathon Asset Management and will report to Brad Koen, head of capital markets in London, who was unavailable for comment. At Marathon, Johnston reported to Lina Takla, managing director in global finance, who did not return a message by press time. Johnston was on gardening leave and could not be reached.
